Members Activities :   The Page Estate Action Project uses the meeting room in the Church and the Vicar is
a member of the committee. The goal of PEAP is to develop a community center
on the Page Estate run by local people for local people.
Revd. Steve Cook is Priest-in-charge of St. Barnabas and Chaplain to 101 Royal
Engineer Regiment (Volunteers); A TA Regiment responsible for Explosive Ordnance Disposal

 

Other involvement :   The Barney-Beep parent and Toddler group meets in the Church hall on Tuesday and Wednesday

'Greenwich SACRE' (Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education) are responsible for defining the content of the Religious Education curriculum within the schools located within the Greenwich Borough. As part of the Religious Education teaching they would like to offer children the option to visit various places of worship as a class visit to find out more about that particular faith group.

There is therfore an opportunity for local churches to explain their beliefs to a group of students.
